During 2007 faculty members from Zimbabwe's Masvingo State University and Ifakara Health Research and Development Centre are participating in CIET's African Development of AIDS Prevention Trial (ADAPT) programme which aims to build on local health capacity to plan, conduct, analyse and use the evidence from large scale, multi-centred AIDS prevention trials in southern Africa.
Zimbabwe is also is one of the participants of the eight-country Soul City media impact evaluation of 2002-2008.
